| 1st expedition: Tambo Yarapa. | |
| Day 1 | Morning departure from Iquitos, cruising up the Amazon river 50 + miles to the campsite. Dinner and night fishing trip. |
| Day 2 through 5 | Using the camp as our base, there will be daily side trips to the surrounding area for fishing, hiking with excellent chances to spot bird life; canoe trips to look for fresh water dolphins and water fowl; and night trips to look for caiman along the river banks and the myriad of lakes and lagoons. Visits to Indian villages and observation of Indian plantations and customs. |
| Day 6 | Return to Iquitos. Transfer to the airport for your afternoon flight. |
| 2nd expedition: Tambo Yarapa & Tahuayo river. | |
| Day 1 | Morning departure from Iquitos, cruising up the Amazon river to Tambo Tahuayo in dense jungle area to set up camp. Dinner and night excursion. |
| Day 2 | Morning jungle hike to through the lush rain forest. After lunch, a canoe trip to the Padre Cocha lake for dolphin observation. Evening excursion to the nearby creeks. Overnight. |
| Day 3 | Morning walk to observe birds. Continue to Tambo Yarapa cruising up to a total of 55 + miles from Iquitos to the campsite. Dinner and night fishing trip. |
| Day 4 | Long morning hike in this seldomly visited pristine area. Afternoon trip to nearby lagoons. Night trip to look for caiman along the river banks. |
| Day 5 | A full day boat trip to the Yarapa and its wilderness tributaries to spot wild life. Visit Indian villages. |
| Day 6 | Morning departure exploring different jungle areas. Transfer to the airport for your afternoon flight. |
| 3rd excursion: Pevas. Departs Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. | |
| Pevas is the oldest established European village on the Amazon. Travel from Iquitos by schedule speed boat at 9 AM. Includes two or three nights at the Brillo Nuevo area. Features is the "Casa de la Loma", a small bed-and-breakfast located in this area. Full program of sightseeing daily as well as visiting the native Bora village. Speed boat returns from Pevas at 1:30 PM. | |
| 4th excursion: Tambo Amazonico - Wilderness Adventure - Five days. | |
| Day 1 | Reception and transfer from the Iquitos airport to the pier. Board the "pamacari", local motorized boat, and travel up the Amazon river for 115 miles up to the beginning of the Amazon River at the confluence of the Maraņon and Ucayali rivers. Night excursion. |
| Day 2 | Full day activities include a excursion to a magnificent black water lake home of the giant "Victoria Regia" water lily; a excursion to a local Indian fishing village; a fishing night excursion with the locals: fishing demonstration with a flashlight and bare hands. |
| Day 3 | Explore the heart of the preserve where many protected species are close to extinction. Search remote lagoons for dolphins; try swimming along the dolphins. |
| Day 4 | Extensive hike through this primary jungle. Hike along native trails in search of unique animals, ancient trees and many varieties of orchids, insects and butterflies. Afternoon visit a village noted for handcrafts made from objects gleaned from the forest and rivers. Barter with the natives for local hand made artifacts. |
| Day 5 | Enjoy the voyage back to Iquitos admiring for the last time the mighty Amazon river. Transfer to the airport for your afternoon flight. |
| 5th excursion: Sinchicuy Lodge and Tambo Amazonico | |
| Day 1 | Transfer from the Iquitos airport to the pier. Board your "pamacari" and travel 16 miles along the Amazon river and small tributaries to the secluded and beautiful Sinchicuy lodge. Visit the local Yagua Indian village for blow-gun demonstration. Afternoon observation of Indian fishing methods. Night excursion to listen the sounds of the jungle. |
| Day 2 | Observe beautiful birds during this sunrise excursion. Continue after breakfast through this magnificent primary jungle. Afternoon activities include swimming, fishing and wild life observation. |
| Day 3 | Return to Iquitos and continue up the Amazon river toward the Tambo Amazonico located at 115 miles from Iquitos. You will travel up to the beginning of the Amazon River at the confluence of the Maraņon and Ucayali rivers. Night excursion. |
